What is Bluetooth?

Bluetooth wireless technology is the simple choice for convenient, wire-free, short-range communication between devices. It is a globally available standard that wirelessly connects mobile phones, portable computers, cars, stereo headsets, MP3 players, and more.

Why do I want it?

• Portable – no base station needed; receiver either built in or USB add-on the size of a flash drive.  Take your wireless headset from workspace to workspace or on the road with you.
• Secure – designed with security in mind; includes active frequency hopping, 128 bit encryption, and PIN identification
• Sound Quality – Recent advances in Bluetooth transmission have improved the quality of sound transmission

Where Did the #@#!! File Menu Go?

Office 2007 employs a dramatic change to the user interface.  Gone are many of the traditional pull-down menus and toolbar icons from earlier versions.  They have been replaced by the Office Button, the Ribbon and Contextual tabs.

Zephyr-TEC's Office 2007 manuals contain step-by-step instructions and updated command sets for navigating this new interface with NaturallySpeaking.  In fact, users may find navigating Office 2007 by voice less frustrating than using the keyboard and mouse.  Simply say "delete table" and your work will be done — no hunting around the Contextual tabs... searching... searching...

Picture this... you say: "e-mail Boss" — Dragon opens a new e-mail message, plugs in the bosses’ e-mail address and leaves you in the Subject field of your message.  After the message has been sent, you then say: "e-mail lackey."  Dragon performs the same actions except this time plugs in the e-mail address of your assistant. 

It's the same command doing a different thing depending on what Dragon heard you say.  It's an Advanced Scripting command that uses a list.  And, there's no limit to the e-mail addresses you can add to the list.  So, you can make one command that does 10 different things instead of 10 commands that each do 1 thing.

Gee-You can make Gmail work better with Dragon

If you use Gmail with Dragon, you may have found you're unable to say things like "Compose Mail." Gmail does have many built-in keyboard shortcuts allowing you to create simple commands but, you have to turn Keyboard shortcuts on.

To turn them on, go to Settings and choose the radio button in the screenshot below.  After turning Keyboard shortcuts on, look under Learn more to see a list of the keyboard shortcuts.  You can then create simple Step-By-Step (or Advanced Scripting) commands.
